Zomboid Seasons

Seasonal Survival Server

Season Rotation

Every 90 days the world resets. The current save is archived as a downloadable .tar.gz and a fresh map is generated. All confirmed players are automatically carried forward to the new season.

Past season saves are available for download on the home page under Season History.

Registration & Payment

Register with your Zomboid username and password. Optionally provide your Steam ID for leaderboard tracking. Pay the season fee in ETH to the server's deposit address. Each registration gets a unique wei offset so payments are matched automatically — send the exact amount shown.

Have a promo code? Enter it during registration for a discount (up to 100% off). Once payment confirms on-chain, you're whitelisted immediately.

Starter Kit

Every player receives a Schoolbag, a Kitchen Knife, a Hand Axe, and a First Aid Kit (stocked with bandages, alcohol wipes, painkillers, and cotton balls) on their first login each season. Just enough to get moving without trivializing the early game.

Scoring & Leaderboard

Your season score comes from three components, all based on your single best character (highest combined kill + survival score) plus your login consistency:

ComponentFormulaMax
Online10 pts per day online (30min minimum)~900
Kills1000 × (1 − e−kills/1000), capped at 5000 kills~993
Survival2000 × (days/90)2, capped at 90 game-days2000

Survival is exponential and back-loaded: dying on day 89 is devastating. Kills have diminishing returns past ~1000. This creates a real tradeoff between aggressive play and cautious survival.

At season end, your score is credited to your permanent account balance. Top 3 scorers get free registration for the next season.

Supply Drops

Crates of loot are dropped at random points of interest. Three tiers:

  • Standard — general supplies and tools
  • Military — weapons and ammunition
  • Medical — first aid and medicine
  • Survival — camping gear, food, and navigation
  • Builder — generator, lumber, nails, and tools
  • Tactical — sidearms, ammo, radios, and gear
  • Mixed — a bit of everything

Drops follow a lifecycle: Announced (location revealed) → Active (crate spawned, lootable) → Claimed or Expired. Check the home page for current drop status.
